Liturgical Restorations with Joe Drury:
Installed in the Garden of the Beatitude at Maryknoll Sisters Mother house in N.Y. in 1943 these Exterior Wood
Sculpted Stations of the Cross and life sized crucifix had weathered well however they needed restoration, repair
and preservation.
Designed by Sister Mary Pierre and sculpted by the Lindenthaler Saliga Studio, only the hands of Christ are used
to suggest the sufferings of that dolorous journey to Calvery.
The stations are a memorial to Mrs. Mary McDonnell given by Marie McDonnell O'Neil. website:
